A recent study highlights the challenges faced by cycle rickshaw pullers in Dhaka, Bangladesh, who are particularly vulnerable to extreme heat due to climate change. By using wearable sensors to gather real-time weather and physiological data from 100 pullers, researchers aim to understand how these workers cope with rising temperatures. Additionally, interviews with 12 pullers shed light on their awareness and experiences regarding climate change.
