Experience: ‘I live as William Morris for three months a year’

Every year for three months, one man transforms himself into William Morris—the famed 19th-century designer and activist—growing out his hair and beard, studying Morris’s work, and even performing in character. While his wife isn’t a fan of the facial hair, he says the experience has helped him embrace being an artist with a social mission.
