First Teaser for Anime 'The Ribbon Hero' - Inspired by 'Princess Knight'

Netflix has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the upcoming anime film 'The Ribbon Hero,' inspired by Osamu Tezuka's classic manga 'Princess Knight.' Directed by Yuki Igarashi, known for her work on 'Star Wars: Visions,' the film follows Sapphire, a princess with a unique heart, as she navigates challenges to protect her kingdom from the evil Duke Duralumin and his son, Plastic. The film is set to premiere in August this summer.

This development highlights Netflix's commitment to expanding its anime offerings and reviving classic stories for a new generation, potentially attracting both fans of the original manga and new viewers to the platform. The involvement of Yuki Igarashi may also elevate the film's artistic quality, given her previous acclaim in the animation industry.
