For Rockies fans, this is a minor but practical move. Gomber’s return could help stabilize the pitching staff, especially against a tough Braves lineup. Agnos, though demoted, isn’t being written off—this is just how teams manage young arms, balancing immediate needs with long-term development. Nothing flashy, but these tweaks keep the machine running.

The Colorado Rockies have activated pitcher Austin Gomber from the injured list to start against the Atlanta Braves. To make room, they've sent rookie reliever Karl Agnos back down to Triple-A Albuquerque. It’s a straightforward roster shuffle—Gomber’s return bolsters the rotation, while Agnos gets more development time in the minors.
