H.S. Baseball: MMI, Hazleton Area look to extend seasons

Two high school baseball teams from the Wyoming Valley Conference—MMI Prep (a tiny school with just 51 boys in its PIAA enrollment) and Hazleton Area (the conference’s largest school)—defied the odds by advancing to the state quarterfinals.
