Maduro says Venezuela ready to respond to US military presence in the Caribbean

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced that the country is fully prepared to respond to the increased US military presence in the Caribbean, which is aimed at fighting drug cartels. Troops have been deployed along the coast and border with Colombia, and citizens are encouraged to join a militia.
