Ted Cruz calls out Gavin Newsom after paying $3.99 a gallon in Texas ‘the problem isn’t Chevron, it’s California’s stupid energy policies’

Texas Senator Ted Cruz criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom after experiencing high gas prices of $3.99 per gallon in Texas, attributing the issue not to Chevron but to California's energy policies. Cruz's remarks highlight ongoing tensions regarding energy management between the two states.

This development underscores the political discourse surrounding energy policies in the U.S., particularly as high gas prices continue to affect consumers. Cruz's comments may influence public perception of Newsom's governance and California's regulatory approach to energy.
