ICE accuses Dem lawmaker of joining 'rioting crowd' in Arizona, interfering in mass arrest

Calls to overhaul or dissolve Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are resurfacing among some Democrats in response to increasing deportations across the country, reflecting a growing discontent with current immigration policies.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has accused Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D-Ariz.) of participating in a 'rioting crowd' during a recent mass arrest operation in Tucson, which resulted in the apprehension of 46 undocumented immigrants linked to a transnational criminal organization. This incident has drawn significant attention due to the contentious nature of ICE operations in the region.

An illegal immigrant from El Salvador, who entered the U.S. as a child in 2007, has been accused of wounding four police officers during a shooting incident at a gas station in Omaha, Nebraska.
