Amazon paying NYT up to $25mn a year in AI deal – WSJ

Amazon has struck a major deal with The New York Times, reportedly paying up to $25 million annually to license the newspaper's content for training its AI models. This agreement gives Amazon access to the NYT's vast archive to improve its large-language models, like those powering Alexa or other AI tools.
