Iran official says Trump is stalling talks with ‘excessive demands’

President Donald Trump has not yet reached a decision on a potential deal to extend the ceasefire with Iran, following a meeting in the Situation Room where he indicated a forthcoming 'final determination.' This delay has raised concerns about the ongoing negotiations.

The lack of a conclusive agreement is significant as it reflects the complexities and tensions in U.S.-Iran relations, with both sides expressing differing views on the progress of negotiations.

This situation underscores the broader geopolitical implications of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, particularly as Iran continues to assert its position amidst ongoing military operations in the region, highlighting the fragile nature of peace efforts.
