Cambodia turns to World Court over Thailand border disputes

Cambodia is taking its long-standing border disputes with Thailand to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), essentially asking the world’s top legal body to step in. Thailand, however, has made it clear it doesn’t recognize the court’s authority here and would rather hash things out directly with Cambodia. This legal move could either force a resolution or deepen tensions between the two Southeast Asian neighbors.
