NHS funds football pitch to help boost island health

Oscar Murphy, an aggressive leukaemia patient, has become the first individual in the UK to receive CAR-T therapy through the NHS, a groundbreaking treatment that modifies a patient's own immune cells to fight cancer. Critical incidents have been declared at two hospital trusts in England, prompting NHS leaders to advise the public to visit Accident & Emergency (A&E) departments only in genuine emergencies.
